Southern Sounds Chorus

The Chorus is a group of women who sing four-part-harmony, a cappella, in the barbershop style, led by Director, Lorraine Bulwyn.

Songs range in style from Aussie classics to Beatles tunes and traditional barbershop. They love the close harmonies even though a jazzy chord can be difficult to achieve! The effort of getting the sound right draws them together and cements their friendships.

They have been singing together for thirty years, and are keen to find new members, meeting  on a Tuesday night at Somerville Community House.
