Mornington Youth & Citizens Brass Band
The Mornington Youth & Citizens Brass Band is a community-based brass band on the Mornington Peninsula.
Established in the late 1800’s under a different name, the Mornington Youth and Citizens Band may have changed names and members over the years, but has always maintained its sense of community and inclusivity.
The band performs a wide range of community functions from Main St. Festival in Mornington, to traditional events such as Anzac Day and Australia Day. Rehearsing every Tuesday, we cover a range of repertoire styles including marches, classical, blues, jazz, gospel and contemporary pop, and are always looking for new members to join us.
We welcome all players no matter the age, ability or experience, and we support all members whether they’re looking to develop their skills, play for fun amongst friends or compete at a higher level.
Our aim is to create a fun, friendly and welcoming space for brass players to come, play and socialise with other keen players.
