The Flinders Christian Community College Tyabb Campus has a diverse variety of instrumental, ensemble and classroom music programs offered to Primary and Secondary students.
 
The Instrumental Program offers instrumental lessons with professional musicians on a wide selection of instruments including, Strings, Brass, Woodwind, Percussion, Vocals, and Electronic. Instrumental lessons provide students the opportunity to undertake AMEB and ANZCA exams and have a direct connection to the Classroom and Ensemble programs, particular VCE music.
 
Students from beginner to advanced learning skills are invited to participate in the various ensembles including Year level Rock Bands, Concert Bands, Chamber Orchestra, String Ensembles, Primary and Secondary Choirs, Brass Band, Flute Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Big Band. The ensembles rehearse on a weekly basis and perform at school and wider community events including the Red Hill Show, Mornington Winter Music festival, Mornington Peninsula Choral Festival, and the Victorian Schools Music Festival.
 
The Classroom music programs involve students learning music education via a comprehensive range of ensemble and instrumental programs. These include Grade 1 & 2 Choir, Grade 3 Strings, Year 7 Classroom Concert Band, and Year 8 Music Rotations. Secondary Music also offers audio engineer education via the Colleges onsite recording studio.
