Carloua

Carloua have been gigging on the “blues-road,” in Sydney and Melbourne for over fifteen years, playing timeless classic blues and funk.  They play a choice selection of Chicago based shuffle, swamp and boogie blues and their own original contemporary rhythm and blues songs with hip groove.  In 2020 Carloua released their first album of originals songs called “Voodoo Blues” which is available to stream on all music platforms.

With passion and power in performance, they energise their brand of blues with vibrant guitar groove and evocative showcase female vocals that sing stories with heart and soul.  The bass and drums are an engine of rhythm.  Carloua are based in the Mornington Peninsula performing as a four-piece blues band with musical versatility.

Among numerous pub gigs in Melbourne and Sydney,  Carloua performed at various festivals including the Mornington Winter Blues Festival, Sorrento Music festival,  Mordialloc Fine Wine and Music festival, Sydney Blues Music festival,  Yarrawonga/Mulwalla Arts Music in the Park, and five times as feature band at the Hume Blues Club, Melbourne.  Whilst in Sydney they played as Carloua Blues and also gigged as a Led Zeppelin tribute band called Carloua Zep.
